Santa Challenge

What is the Santa Challenge?
The Santa Challenge is a virtual race where you travel from Bedfordshire to Santa’s home in
Lapland.
What do you need to do?
Each time you walk, cycle, park and stride or scoot to school over the next two weeks it counts as 1 mile.
At the end of the challenge there will be a prize draw in school of all pupils who complete the 10 days of the challenge (either to or from school)  will be entered with the top prize being a scooter. Parents will be asked to confirm that their child has indeed completed the 10 days.

Why are We Doing This?

Central Bedfordshire Council are encouraging active travel—walking, park and striding, scooting and
cycling to school.
Today’s children spend less time outdoors. An active school run can be beneficial for children, parents, and carers alike. Active travel can also improve academic performance and concentration at school.
